Burts Catering Butchers have been an established business since 1981. Having also been a local family butchers since 1967, we are catering butchers in West Sussex who specialise in offering quality meat to many different venues and catering establishments across the south east of England.
Who We Supply
We supply meat to small independent companies as well as large venues. No company is too small for us to liaise with, but we also consistently work with many large institutions, which is a great testament to the exceptionally high standards of meat that we provide. We work with local pubs, restaurants, hotels, event companies as well as sporting venues, supplying them with regular or one off amounts of fresh meat.
Our Team
Having an excellent team working with and for us, we distribute mainly across Surrey, Sussex as well as Kent, providing a top quality service with highly experienced account managers who will be your first port of call and will regularly keep in contact with you.
We operate our own fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles for deliveries of your meat. All our vehicles are equipped with data loggers that record the internal temperature throughout the whole journey, so you know your produce has been stored at the right temperature at all times. For customers outside our standard delivery area, then we supply your meat via our dedicated chilled haulage company Nagel Langdon’s.
Our Facilities
Being based in Bexhill, we are regular catering butchers in West Sussex as well as further afield. Our processing facility exceeds current health and hygiene laws and it gives our customers peace of mind that all their produce is handled and processed properly. We feel that we are extremely loyal and fair and because of that our suppliers look after us. Very rarely do we have a product that can’t be sourced within a couple of days. Buying from Red Tractor, Eblex and BRC accredited companies means we can guarantee our customers that products they serve have been properly cared for and are of the highest possible quality money can buy.
