Burts Delivery Process

As a longstanding family butchers in East Sussex, we take an immense pride in our work. All the processes for delivery are to the highest of standards; we care about everything we do and want you to be equally as happy.

The Intake

Our deliveries will arrive from only the best suppliers. All deliveries will have spontaneous checks for the correct temperature as well as cleanliness of the transport vehicles.

Storage Of Meat

All meat is stored in our dedicated chillers, for separation purposes. Meat that is set for dry ageing will be stored for up to 45 days, which is paramount for the quality of our business.

Your Orders

If we receive an order by 4am, then it is guaranteed to be delivered that very same day. We are happy to schedule calls with you to ensure your order is placed.

Picking the meat

Your order is prepared, based on your requirements. Our skilled butchers will deal with this, to avoid any mistakes. They will use their own stamp so we know whop prepared the meat.

Packaging

Our dedicated packaging area has been organised to handle and process orders as efficiently as possible.

Labelling

Our labels are either placed on the outside of the box or on individual boxes if there is a multiple order. It will also contain all information required for storage.

Storage, Ready For Despatch

We have dedicated chillers that store your meat ready for despatch to your business, by our own fleet of vehicles.

Completed and checked orders will then be loaded into our temperature controlled vehicles, ready to be driven to all our customers throughout the south east of England.
